I really don’t see the big deal here. It wasn’t as if Pahk-eee-stahn was doing anything in all the north/south *.stans anyway. Now it has just made it official. Maybe this is a green light for around the clock Predator missions in the area. The Pakistan government can then say it has no influence there anymore and suggest that the new Taliban UN representative for the restive region address the proper authorities. Afghanistan can claim it no longer has to respect the sovereignty of the region as belonging to Pakistan anymore and can do what it wants there too.
