You can try to fix brain-damaged Conservatives, but I think you’re wasting your time out of sympathy from having a brain-injury yourself. Conservatism is not like what you went through. It’s structural changes involved in embracing hate and fear.

Structural changes can be changed back, if the cause is verbal input, not sudden physical input, but sometimes also in those cases. I’m not saying anyone should be spending their time trying to fix conservatives, but I still believe it can be done. Much patience is required, and in most cases, I don’t have time for that. Sometimes it happens for unknown or undisclosed reasons.
