I second your firsting of I.F.’s post. And I agree with you that the Republican Party needs an overhaul.

As for myself, almost every person I know closely tells me that I am not a Republican. When I clearly am a Republican. But I’m an atheist. They say it is impossible for an atheist to honestly be a Republican. The hair brained left is so inclusive but as I am told the right isnt. Not in the sense that being an atheist is acceptable at the core of the right. The problem is that the stereotype of a Republican in many ways still holds true.

The right has to bust apart the stereotype.
