It’s not as if he was thanking these nations. He rattled off some names. It sounds like you’re picking a nit that isn’t there. Read the last sentence and tell me that mentioning Israel was central to the point he was trying to make.

I understand that. Actually, Israel’s site says that they first arrived Friday evening. Obama’s speech was on that day. It’s seems possible he didn’t now they were there. In which case, disregard the above :)

But the George Mitchell issue is huge and that’s the real issue. I’m trying not to be too worried about Israel. Bibi is pretty tough, although he gave up Hebron last time… Anyway, I’m trying not to worry.
