No need to wear black slacks. It’s spring and it’s warm. Wear warm colors. Light colored skirt or slacks if you have them, and a bright blouse. You want to ‘pop’ a little…stand out as warm and confident.

I’m now leaning towards a floral skirt that goes just past my knees with a an open short sleeved cardigan and wedge shoes. It’s causal and cute for spring, but it’ll show I made an effort to dress up for the interview.

It’s an associate research analyst contract gig for a media firm. I’d join one of their subsidiaries and work with a team that specializes in domain names and domain registration. It won’t be glamorous, but it’s for a solid company and it would give me more marketing research experience, which is what I want.
