Ok, thanks. Wasn’t familiar with the political situation there. Knew about the history involving the French since one of my favorite movies (Day of the Jackal) involves a bunch of French army extremists who try to assassinate De Gaulle over giving the Algerians their independence and as I recall, Camus’ The Stranger was there too. HAted that book in high school heh.
