Yes, this.
Channeling anger and/or frustration into some sort of martial arts or boxing training is actually a good idea. It’s amazing how therapeutic a few rounds with a punching bag is. A friend of mine is a Krav Maga instructor. He swears by it for fitness AND stress relief.
Take up running. Take a few meditation courses. Find something that you like to do that involves getting away from all your usual stress/anger triggers. Medication and counseling only go so far. Getting physical activity and finding hobbies and things outside of yourself are also great ways of dealing with stress.
I like my other idea just as well; I’m not the “physical type” like that, but nothing beats backpacking out to BFE with no particular plans and some good views. IIRC, PLL’s moving/moved back to Colorado Springs, so the Rockies are right there for the taking; I’ve been on four ten-day backpacking trips at Philmont Scout Ranch in NM over the past twenty years and the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rockies is just as beautiful every time I return there.
That’s some good stress relief right there…
