I have a few friends that have met Soupy Sales, and told me that he was one of the nicest people they’d ever met. I’ve seen quite a few of his old shows, and he consistently made me laugh. I also remember the prank they played on him during on of the shows where they had a naked lady standing behind a door (and off camera) and when he opened it, Soupy practically lost it for several minutes.

Rest in peace, Soupy. Thanks for all the laughs you gave us over the years.
