Neither the Syrian nor Iranian protestors / rebels have organized themselves at the level that the Libyan resistance managed early on, and the Libyans looked like Orks from 40k in terms of organization discipline. Even the Libyan improvised and looted armor was Ork / A-team like in it’s ad hoc construction. Libya turned into a grind even though the allies had total air supremacy within something like 48 hours, so it’s important to distinguish between what can be bitten off and what can easily be chewed.
