I would like to see better context about this issue since no one ever seems to be clear that Islam is a major religion outside of the Middle East as well. Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, etc. plus countries in Sub-Sahara Africa as well.

Also, “lower” Thailand, Pakistan and the Central Asian states — including far western China.
