I have een disappointed with Charles’ consistent focus on the evolution debate, but well it’s his blog so he makes the rules. When I see something on evolution I leave.

Put it this way: in ten or more years, when someone writes about the shift from old media to new, and does a non-partisan historical account of the way bloggers came to influence politics— LGF and Charles and memogate will be acknowledged as the tipping point.
Time incorrectly gave the Powerline “blog of the year” status. They were wrong.

As for the evolution debate— I disagree that Charles has anything like a “consistent focus’ on that debate, insofar as this blog has always covered, and still covers, all kinds of topics.

I’m all for anyone who wants to expose creationism and ID and the push to teach that in schools. i don’t care what anyone believes, in a religious sense, but I can’t support teaching religion in public schools, esp at the expense of science.

And it’s a blog, so, there will be posts anyone likes more than others. I tend to avoid certain topics because I don’t have anything to contribute or I’m not as interested. C’est la vie!
