I hate to say this, but I have to give Romney a lot of credit for helping to bring that man down. It was a beautiful thing to watch. Even if the worst of Perry’s wounds were self-inflicted. Heh… have a heart. :)

Well, can’t give total credit to Romney, as it was Bachmann’s digs at the HPV vaccine bit in the first debate that sent Perry to the mat. Granted, she fell victim herself to her own wingnuttery post-debate, but she helped set up the slams that were brought down on his head in the recent debate.

Perry was supposed to be the guy who stepped in and walked away with the nomination. Instead, he’s only made Romney’s position as heir-apparent all the more secure.
