At our boarding school, the rule was that each table of 6 kids, among them, had to eat everything that arrived at the table. It worked for years until the Cook Nun produced rhubarb pie. Cause a near riot, and kids were offering each other prized toys to those who could stomach extra shares.

What happened if your table team could not finish a food delivery? Did you get the Comfy Chair?
