They call that a “cooling off” period. Which is making all kinds of hostile assumptions about a gun buyer. That is a clear assumption of hostile intent rather than defensive or sporting intent.

It’s only a clear assumption that one is dealing with human beings in a risky world. It’s not a personal insult. And if some people take it that way, so what?
