My Aussie friend told me Fosters is the Budweiser of Australia. It’s funny when the local crap beer is shipped somewhere new and sold as a premium product, like Coors in the East in the 1970s.

I remember hearing that somebody in California was going to ‘import’ Rolling Rock as a premium beer, and about died laughing. Rolling Rock was what you bought when you couldn’t afford Genesee, and weren’t desperate enough to buy Iron City!

I remember drinking Genesee, and Utica Club, and Carlings Black Label, and Ballentine. (Yea, I drank a lot of cheap-ass beer in my day)
