To be fair, I don’t feel that they should not exercise their first amendment rights simply because it may create PR issues for the Army.

I think they should not exercise their first amendment rights because what they want to do with them is morally repugnant.

Some people during WW1 abused and even killed dachshunds because it made them feel they were helping the war effort. Burning a Quran is about as useful.
