It’s called Argumentum ad Populum… otherwise known as the bandwagon fallacy. I’ll tell you what any parent tells their child. “If everyone else was jumping off a cliff would you too?”

No. But if everybody else has jumped off the cliff and it has decreased their percentage of health care respective to their GDP from 16% to 9% with no real decrease in care (despite the horror stories from thew insurance lobby- Who knew?) what is the downside?
