I cannot believe how utterly stupid Windows 7 is. The simple act of deleting a file is a major production, especially if there are a lot of files in the folder, say, several thousand. The first problem is that, as with previous versions of Windoze, you can’t select multiple files by holding down the control key, since the piece of garbage will decide on its own to copy them, leaving you with twice as many unwanted files. This idiot feature limits you to selecting 3 or 4 files for deletion at one time. Worse, it can’t delete those 3 or 4 files without apparently scanning the whole folder, shown by a glacially slow green bar, a process that takes several minutes.
I had the bright idea of moving the unwanted files to a smaller folder, but, low and behold, Moron 7 starts its slow scan act on those as soon as you try to move more than about 3 files and won’t move them until it finishes, again, several minutes later.
