Well, to me it’s more funny than annoying. People who are inclined to believe some pretty absurd conspiracy theories just taking at face value the “oh no, we don’t profile, nope, that would be naughty” bit.

It’s all about feeding their fantasy: They want to feel that they see things that others cannot see.
