Honest question. Being a “good” Republican (I put good in quotes because I honestly don’t know what constitutes a good Republican these days, all I know is that you are pretty consistent in your voting patterns) how do you feel having to explain yourself at almost every turn, or does that even happen? I think I understand your politics and I do respect them (Republican in Cook County?!? Study Its Habits!!!) though I often disagree, especially when it comes to state power.
