There are three possibilities. I’ve already voted for the one I would have liked to see: such comments not appearing in the first place. Of the remaining two: the comments were made, but were subsequently removed, or were left up, I think the latter would be even worse than removing them, though.

I’m trying to overcome my normal curmudgeonly nature and look for the positive side of things. Today, anyway. It may not be a sustainable effort.
