I would be very happy with tepid. But I generally see schtizo responses from the GOP: Boehner saying something very reasonable and conciliatory in the morning and then saying something aggravating and pandering in the evening.

It is not going to be easy for me to overlook the welcoming in of the Birchers. That is so deeply alarming, and I can find no similar action on the side of the Democrats.
