Well, how about Cicadas?

Noisy, sorta ugly to look at. Occasional massive local outbreaks. But at least they go see us and go OM NOM NOM.

3 words: Killer Cicada Wasp. As big as your thumb, burrows in the ground. Aggressive, but stingerless. They’re my late July killing project.
