The decision was naive and foolish, and it may well end up with a body count among protesters, patients, and doctors.

There’s already a body count, none among the protestors so far, that I know of.

Also there’s no ‘may very well’ involved. It’s a certainty; the body count is going to grow. The ‘anti-choicers’ are on a crusade and crusades demand blood.
