I don’t know if you follow Wyatt Earp’s posts and links here. (I think he’s one of Philly’s Phinest.) It’s absolutely heartbreaking how many policemen have been killed or injured in the past couple of years. It was the main concern of the mayor’s office until he looked at the books and realized the city was bankrupt and that tends to focus the mind on other things. Whole sections of the city have been abandoned to the criminals. It’s worse than I ever remember. :-(

You may also be surprised to learn that there’s a huge population of blacks who converted to Islam in Philadelphia.
