Wow.

Pournelle pops up on This Week in Tech every so often. Until now, his most irritating trait was reminding everyone he predicted the iPad in one of his books (pro tip: you made shit up and got lucky).

This puts him in a whole new light.

As to tech, I remember when he had a regular column in BYTE. And how often I’d have to tell someone, “No, I don’t care what he said it doesn’t work that way.”
