I pretty much agree with this. A rough equivalent to a flat statement by an atheist that all religious beliefs are delusional would be a flat statement by a Christian that all non-believers are going to Hell.

Both are pointlessly offensive in mixed company.

I’ll tell you what really gets up my snoot - being told by someone religious that

A) I refuse to believe in God because I want to be sinful and have nobody to answer to.

or

B) “I was just like you! I felt the emptiness you feel! But my belief in X made all that better, and it can for you, too!!”
