Screw that? Ya think a Chief Executive is like a plumber or something? You misunderstand the nature of the thing if that’s what you expect.

Look at Carter - that was one busy guy - had his fingers in a million pies, and didn’t get a whole lot of anything done because he was too busy doing things.

‘sides, what exactly would you have him do? Give yet another speech on something? Hold yet another conference with yet another group of people in his admin? Maybe he should suit up and go into battle in Afghanistan?

He’s an executive - the pres doesn’t need to constantly DO anything.
