I think it’s a psychological thing for me. We definitely cannot pay our house off so it feels good to see that deduction, you know?

Oh and I am THE WORST about saving money. The BF has had a profound influence on my spending habits. My credit score thanks him, but my wardrobe despises him. :~)

I’m unemployed. I have just enough money from my 401K (rolled over to an IRA) to just barely pay my house off.
I have clear title to my vehicles.

… I know it’s a “bad idea”, but not worrying about whether “the man could come and take it all away” is looking more and more attractive.
