They’re not. I don’t think you understand the topic. The government is mandating that contraceptives be covered as no copay like many other preventative medications. They’re not mandating what anyone buys.

I am a big fan of HSA/MSA high deductible coverages. I have been self employed for almost 20 years. I have saved >$100,000 in premiums (@$5K/yr). I assume the insurance companies have made money. I know I have saved money.

What does this have to do with the topic?
