I sometimes wonder about the meeting where the Nashville recording execs sat down and decided that the way to go was to combine the most annoying aspects of bluegrass and pop rock.

I have to wonder about the ears on some of those execs. I’ve been hearing some stuff that’s a cross between hip-hop and country. NO. Just…no. It’s horrible. Rednecks trying to rap with a Southern twang is just wrong.

On the other hand, I’m becoming a Rascal Flatts fan the more I listen to them. I’m still not sure if this is good or bad.
