I just received a very sad call. The older gentleman who was my hubby’s hospital “roommate” passed away last night. They were from our town as well, and fellow churchmembers. I had a chat with his wife when I was there last weekend, after she had been given the grim news there was not much hope for his recovery. They lost their daughter two years ago, and his illness was taking a huge emotional toll on her. But her faith (our faith) was (and is) giving her much comfort. Please say a quick prayer for Betty, that she may receive comfort in her grief. Thank you.
