Hell, just ask her how Texas, which did institute tort reform, fared in the first few years after such became law. After she mumbled and muttered for a second, I’d point out that malpractice insurance rates skyrocketed, contrary to the predictions of the law’s supporters. And even though they tapered off in recent years, they are still above the national average.

Given what we’ve seen of the “doctors” that get elected to public office in Texas, and their (non)comprehension of basic female biology, it’s not surprising that malpractice insurance rates keep rising there.
