It really is outrageous that the officer was allowed to skip town to God knows where. That is not the action of an innocent man, and that the department apparently knew about it and allowed it is yet another sign that their primary objective is to protect him at all costs, not to see that justice is done.

Well, news media had aired video of his home and given away the address. I don’t blame him for getting the hell out of dodge given that.
