They want it, because it will be easier for them to transmit financial and DRG reports to the government. They are desperately wanting ONE central intermediary for government reimbursements to physicians and health care providers. It is NOT about bad handwriting.
It will be step ONE in data basing ALL providers into ONE government health care system.

I never said it was about bad handwriting nor do I think it is all about the DRG reports. If the government has total control under a one payer system they will be calling the shots on who gets treated and what they will allow to be treated. I’m terrified by the thought of a bureaucrat who doesn’t know their ass crack from a whole in the ground making a decision on medical treatment.
