I’ve been bitten bad by the model plane bug here lately. I used to think this was a little childish. Actually I still do, I just don’t give a damn now.

Another IDF kit I have (but haven’t started) is the Academy 1/48th scale Mirage IIIC, the terrible swift sword of the 6 day war and one of the prettiest planes ever made. The kit is very reasonably priced for a 48th scale jet (it is over a foot long when finished).
Looking at it, this might be because the molds are a little old and there is a lot of “flash” to clean up, not at all typical quality for Academy. I can do wonders with an X-acto knife and sandpaper though so it should make up into a spiffy model.
