That’s the way. I got a phone call from my daughter when she got her first check from her first full time “I’m in the real world now” check. She was flipping out that so much was taken out and wanted to know what all those initials were that got her money.

I hope you didn’t do something like the following:

“FICA? Well, that’s the Federal Institute for Cataloging Assholes. Like that boyfriend you were dating last year. Yeah, I had to call him in to FICA.”
