Because it’s so important, I have shoes that flap when I walk. I have sneakers that suck up space as I step and make noises I’d prefer they not make. Do I begrudge those able to buy better, newer shoes, of whatever type? Nope. More power to them. They’re better off than I am. I’m OK with that. I thought that was a left wing gripe? Apparently the newest “new” right has bought into the old left behavior of saying that someone doing better than me is an inherent infringement of my basic rights. Sorry, but that’s just not true. We’re all human. Unless you think some are more “equal” than others.
