We’ve been gifted with two of the oddest cat overlords. Both were rescue kitties that came home with us when they were very young. Since we’re in a very urban environment, it has always been our intention that they are INDOOR cat overlords. The odd thing is that they apparently agree. They’ll sit at the front door, happily gazing thru the screen — and whenever the door opens, they look up, apparently acknowledging that the door has moved, then resume what they were watching. They have shown zero interest in what the outside is like.

Except when a squirrel is nearby.

Otherwise, they are quite content indoors.

I’m grateful, and bemused.
