If you know your subject well, and you enter the classroom with a plan, you’ve got it made. The trick is to learn when it’s OK to deviate from the plan to follow a particular thread in a class discussion, but not follow it so long as to go off a tangent.

As in everything else, experience helps.

Yeah true. I do have some moderate experience as an assistant basketball coach. Totally different thing though.
