From what I hear, it’s not just the census that will be handled out of the West Wing rather than in Commerce. The White House is keeping lots of policy to itself. The Cabinet secretaries are just there to blame when things go wrong.

I’m thinking that we’re in for a shadow cabinet the likes of which we’ve never seen.
