Hindu, Dari, Pashtun, Cajun, Creole, Basque, Irish, Celtic, Jamaican, Mayan, Aztec, Dravidian, Iberian, Scot, Breton, Angle, Cornish, Okinawan, Japanese, Ainu, etc. etc. etc. — I can point you to US websites where people take pride in their membership in said tribes, and participate in groups for same, in most metro areas you will find bars that cater to those specific peoples. Just because some tribes roughly align with “nationality” it doesn’t make them less of a tribe. Jews don’t own special claim to the word tribe in the US, the notion is somewhat hubristic L. indeed - it smacks of you establishing your personal identity by your tribe, which is a minor version of what Pat is doing.

You are missing my point. That’s OK, a lot do. Those groups you mentioned do not greet each other as tribe members. It’s almost like the way that some black folks use the N word with each other.
