Believe me… since every male in my family , ( and lots of us wimmin ) hunts, and all with a Lab or two, I get it. But the Lab is the number one breed registered in America, and the number one breed that rescues try to find homes for. There were over 400,000 purebred Labs registered with the AKC last year…. far ahead ( over 200,000) of the second place German Shepherds… and that’s just people who registered their litters. Thank heavens my Goldens dropped to fourth.
I’m pretty sure there weren’t 400,000 good homes for them.
Again, /preach off/… I could get pretty rabid on the subject.
