The seven modes of the major scale, dorina, lydian, mixolydian, etc. I don’t remember exactly when I first started reading about them, but I think it was in the mid-late 90’s. Listening to one of your recordings I heard what sounded like you were playing with some of those ideas. i was just wondering if they were common knowledge for the pros back then or what the thought process was.
