You cannot have those discussions in a first grade class because the students just don’t have the capacity to understand. But, they can understand that the school is delibertely leaving out meat on Mondays.

While agreed, I guess I’m just wondering if that sort of thing should be the school’s call or not. As a parent, I would rather be able to instruct my kid(s) in such a way myself, rather than having the school endorse it.
