Israel contains many of the places mentioned in the Bible, so of course Christians want to see it protected from destruction. And moderate Muslims do speak out against the radicals in their faith, quite regularly…but don’t expect them to get much press.

i am judging effectiveness, not intentions here; it’s the only prudent yardstick when lives are at stake.

and the lives at stake tell a clear story about the current state of danger around Israel: rogue Christian theocratic regimes are not exactly at the top of the list. it’s quite simple.
