Glenn Greenwald’s bizarre view of intelligence gathering:
Opposing mass, indiscriminate spying on millions of people ? opposing spying on those for whom there’s evidence of wrongdoing #Obviously— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) July 7, 2013
He actually seems to think (or maybe he’s just bullshitting, I can’t tell) that the US should only gather intelligence on people who are known to be “wrongdoers.” In fact, suspicion isn’t even enough for Glenn - he specifically says we need evidence of wrongdoing before we can do any kind of spying.
Why do people think this guy is intelligent? I’d call this world view childish, but even most children aren’t this absurdly nave.
