Klingon is a perfectly useful language. It’s guaranteed to loosen any phlegm in your lungs when you try and speak it. It also acts as a guaranteed form of birth control, since speaking fluent Klingon pretty much ensures you’ll never get laid. ;)

Klingon Speakers Now Outnumber Navajo Speakers

NEW YORK—According to a report released Monday by the Modern Language Association, speakers of the Star Trek-based Klingon language outnumber individuals fluent in Navajo by a margin of more than seven-to-one.
