Fairness is the issue, that’s the predicate for wealth redistribution.
The idea that Socialism eradictes poverty is curious since there is rampant poverty in Socialist countries.
Our poor in this country are not tripping the life fantastic, but they have a standard of living that much of the world would envy.

Socialism is also built around the idea of limited wealth, which is totally wrong. The United States is living historical proof that wealth is created, not taken. Look at all the industries that have sprung up in the past 100 years: automobiles, airplanes, music, movies, computers. And then look the industries that sprang up as mediums for advertising these products! Television, radio, and the internet. There is always going to be something new to be invented and there will always be young entrepreneurs who can sell the invention.
