I’ve never seen any presidents, but I was at the second Bush innauguration. When I was a volunteer EMT they asked fire/ems departments from MD and VA to volunteer all day and night as a supplement to the DC and Federal staff. Three of us were on a night shift - something line 8 pm - 4 am. Didn’t have to treat or transport anyone, but it was a pretty unique event. Never saw DC streets so empty, or that many cop cars on the road. We got to hang out at the Texas/Arkansas Ball. I was hoping to have drinks with Jenna and Barbara, but I guess they had left by then.
